Almyra II

The impressive 49,8m sailing yacht “Almyra II” was built by the Italian shipyard Perini Navi, with steel hull and aluminum superstructure, providing exceptional stability and seaworthiness. It combines classic looks with modern amenities, offering high performance racing with the comfort of an ocean cruiser. “Almyra II” is built with 3Di Ocean 700 sails, the only Perini Navi yacht in Greece with this technology.

Alkyonis Co. undertook and implemented the following works:

• Acoustic insulation of surfaces – Main Deck Aft
• Damping tiles – Technical Spaces
• Thermal/Comfort Insulation – Main Deck Aft
• Partial renewal of insulation scheme & cladding – Port & Stbd Sidewalls – E/R Area
• Total renewal of exhaust pipes insulation – Main Engines
• Thermal pipe insulation / Condensation Control – Chilled Unit, Chilled Pipes & E/R Area
• New aluminum perforated false ceilings – E/R Area
• New thermal insulation scheme – Lazarette Area

For the abovementioned works, the following companies’ products were used: Paroc, Klever’s, Unifrax, K-Flex, Marinsu.
